The race will start at 8:00 AM. The starting point is 18th and Walnut Streets and will conclude at 17th and Spruce Streets.
* Race packets can be picked up beginning at 7:00 AM in front of 17th Street Bar & Grill on the day of the race.

* Beautiful Golden Apple Awards to overall male and female finishers in run and walk.
* Awards to top 3 males and females in run and walk in all age groups except male runners in 66 - 69, 70 & Over, female runners 61 & Over, male walkers 70 & Over, and female walkers 70 & Over.
* All paid pre-registered participants who make the deadline of September 1st are guaranteed an event T-shirt. Other entrants who do not make the September 1st deadline will not get an event T-shirt.
* Awards to be presented immediately after the run results are tabulated.

Your safety and enjoyment are the most important part of the Murphysboro Apple Festival Run & Walk. Event assistants will be located around the course to monitor the race course at all times.
PRE-REGISTRATION FEE OF $15 PER PARTICIPANT ($10 River to River Runners) MUST BE RECEIVED BY SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 1, 2012. ALL ENTRIES AFTER SEPTEMBER 1st WILL BE $20 PER PARTICIPANT AND WILL NOT GET AN EVENT T-SHIRT.
