 |  We are the one and only Murphysboro in America. | | Tower Rock and Devil's Backbone in Grand Tower. | | There are lots of secluded wineries scattered around Murphysboro with various small, out of the way marts/businesses offering cheese sandwiches (e.g., Pomona Natural Bridge), bluegill sandwiches with a cold beer (e.g., the Bottoms Up at Nuenert, IL), etc. | | The view off the west side of Fountain Bluff. | | The Smysor Fountain. People spend time there, respect the work, get married next to it, and the city maintains it properly.
